The Northshire community located in beautiful northeast
Tallahassee epitomizes the best of rural living with easy
access to all the amenities that Tallahassee offers.
One of the first rural acreage subdivisions built in Tallahassee, Northshire, was introduced to Leon County in the 1980s. Approximately 90 families call Northshire their home. This wonderful subdivision is close to the new and vibrant Bannerman Crossing Retail Center, Publix, Target, and other shops and restaurants, yet retains its rustic characteristics.
This community values a tranquil and pastoral life and is thus proud to be a member of the Centerville Rural Community Association (CeRCA). Horses are allowed in the area, and adjacent properties provide beautiful vistas and wildlife viewing opportunities. People of all ages enjoy boating and fishing in Lake McCarthy, which is also an attraction for wading birds and other miscellaneous critters.
